Church Music Programs

Adult Choirs

The Senior Choir at Redeemer is comprised of confirmed members of the congregation. They lead the 11 am service most weeks during the school year. Their repertoire includes classical choral music, as well as gospel, contemporary, and praise style music. They rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7:30 pm – 8:45 pm, except during Lent, when they rehearse following the Wednesday evening services.

The Matins Choir sings once a month at the 8 am service. This group is also comprised of confirmed members of the congregation, and they rehearse on Sunday mornings from 9:15 am – 10:15 am. They sing varying styles of music, and enjoy lively rehearsals.

The Redeemer Choir is a combination of the two adult vocal choirs, and any others who may wish to join them for our Palm Sunday cantata. This requires attending at least 5 rehearsals prior to the cantata, plus the Saturday morning rehearsal the day before the presentation.

If you would like to add your voice to any of our Adult Choirs please feel free to speak to our choir director Leigh-Ann Powers, or any member of the choir.
